Uttar Pradesh Cabinet has approved the distribution of free tablets and smartphones for students pursuing higher studies. This initiative is taken for students deprived of digital equipment, and their analysis is denied.
The budget set for this scheme is Rs 3000 crores which the state is ready to bear.
Also, there is a provision where there will be the installation of a statue of former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Kanpur near Circuit House.
