World teacher day is marked as the anniversary of 1966 recommendations that were adopted, and it was regarding the status of teacher’s rights and their value. 5th October is considered to be the world Teachers day, and it is precisely after one month of National Teachers Day, which is celebrated in India on 5th September. Also, both dates have a significant history due to which it is followed; in India, it is followed to remember the Birth anniversary of its second President, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
Conclusion this is why both the days are celebrated as different events and the international day has the same value that national Teachers day has; yes, National Teachers day indeed has much more value than the International one, but both are equally important and have the same respect which national has.
Teachers are one the base. Without them, there is no other way to reach your goal. Students are always dependent on mentors for their career growth. The education system which India or any other country has is made reliable due to the strength. Also, due to the teaching methods students get from teachers, one day is not justified to be for teachers as students need to respect teachers who play a great role in making students’ careers shine bright.
